A two-day live course built to close the gap between marksmanship and combat application.
Designed for shooters who can already run a handgun on the range and need to know what happens when the range goes away.
Shooting is a subset of fighting. Most shooters can hit a static target. Fewer can hit a target when the target is moving, when they are moving, when the clock is running, and when someone is trying to do harm.
The range teaches you how to operate the pistol. It does not teach you how to apply the pistol. Shooting for Fighting is built specifically to bridge that gap — to take a competent shooter and turn skill into applied capability under pressure.
The curriculum is sequenced. Day One builds the shooting performance ceiling — speed, accuracy, and the fundamentals refined to a level that will hold under stress. Day Two introduces the fight — control of the weapon, access under resistance, and retention across realistic ranges of engagement.
Day One is dedicated to raising the shooter's technical ceiling. We refine the fundamentals until they are reliable at speed, and we pressure them until they are repeatable under load.
Day Two introduces the elements the range cannot teach — proximity, contact, resistance, and the access problem. Skills built on Day One are now pressure tested across the realistic ranges of an actual fight.
Skill is not built by repetition alone — it is built by repetition under the right conditions. Every block of instruction in this course follows a deliberate five-stage cycle that takes a skill from isolated drill to applied capability.
This course assumes baseline competence with a handgun. It is not a beginner course.
Shooters who have moved past introductory courses and want their training to reflect the real demands of a fight.
Civilians who carry daily and want their skillset to match the realistic conditions under which a defensive handgun is actually used.
Trainers who want a clear, sequenced methodology for bridging marksmanship and combative application in their own curriculum.
Law enforcement, military, and protective personnel who operate at close ranges and need their handgun skills to function under contact.
